FAQ

Commissions
General

Q: Do you have a waitlist?
A: Currently, I don't do not have any waitlist.
Q: Do you accept other types of commission that are not listed in the commission section?
A: Yes. There are other types of commissions I can do that aren't art related. If you need assistance with writing or voice work I do also offer those to individuals upon requests. Any further items you are welcome to inquire directly as I could put in contact of other individuals if I'm unable to assist.

Live2D

Q. Can I get a "lower tier" rig for a cheaper price?
A: Sorry, I do not offer additional Tier's than what is shown at this time.
Q. What face-tracking software and equipment do you use?
A: vTubeStudio. I use vTubeStudio face tracking on an iOS device. I can also test the model with the NVIDIA Broadcast Tracker+Logitech Brio webcam. But for the best result, I still recommend using VBridger + ARKit face-tracking or vTubeStudio on iOS.
Q. Will you provide a more detailed price list?
A: I am unable to provide a detailed breakdown of items regarding rigging and cost. There are items that are things difficult to itemize. For example, if there's a toggle to put a sticker onto the character it can be rather simple but if that sticker is not set up correctly art wise it could effect the quality of what I can do. Also, if there are physics or bouncing involved it can be difficult to account for these items on a case by case without starting to rig it.

T.O.S

Live2D Rigging Commissions

  • Must have the .psd file ready. All layers or parts must be properly named (using underscores/no spacing at all preferred), separated, and grouped. This is to ensure smoother more efficient workflow and minimize confusion on what parts relate to which. Here's a VERY detailed guide on how parts are separated provided by Fafrotsky. Failure to do so may result in additional charges to process the PSD and make it suitable for rigging. The complexity of the model will determine the cost of this service and will be discussed in detail prior to any agreement.

  • I do not accept AI Art under ANY circumstance.

  • If your model contains items referencing or showing existing IP [Intelectual Property] they will not be accepted for rigging unless they are omitted from the .PSD file that is sent over. Example of this is a plushy or a toggle referencing an anime/videogame character.

  • If the model requires many features, the best practice would be to have a document or PDF outlining those complexities and features. This will allow for smoother workflow. Keep in mind that the range of motion will depend on how the parts are separated.

  • The model (especially the face) should be positioned at the center of the canvas, facing forward, with facial parts as symmetrical as possible.

  • Any adjustments to the PSD requested during the rigging phase will count as revisions and may require an additional charge, depending on the scale of the adjustment (e.g. adding hair strands or replacing parts). These will be explicitly pointed out and discussed before any charges will be added.

Privacy Fee Information

  • A privacy fee of +20% of the total price will be charged. [Non-Negotiable]

  • This states I will NOT post any WIP pictures or stream any of the rigging process while the client has not debuted the model. The timeframe extends past completion until debut of model is complete.

  • I will provide the client with exclusive updates regarding the commission's progress.

  • Clients have the option to post progress/WIPs of the model on their social media channels if they choose, but must provide the proper credits.

  • After the model's debut, I am allowed to post a showcase video of the model, with proper credits given to the client and artists involved.

Work Speed Expectation

Be advised as I work full time, 40+ hours, a week this is done during the evenings and free time to which I want to ensure proper configuration and process for all involved. This means my average completion time is scheduled at 3 months though most times I complete within the 1-2 month time frame. This will also include the possibilities of extensions depending on the complexity of the commissions. This is especially apparent if the model has numerous toggles and/or features. There will be weekends which I do not work as I still need to avoid burnout from working through the week. Of course I'll be available to talk and discuss items any time during the process. This will not include all weekends as I will still spend time doing work most days.I request that you do not send messages rushing me on items as I will be extremely transparent on workings. I appreciate this cooperation and understanding as rushing me will only give you an inferior product to what you would have received if I took the time to work diligently on your item. We all have things we do outside of work so I'd appreciate the same courtesy.I will not accept commissions with extreme rush deadlines such as few weeks as I cannot dedicate and commit the time to complete these with the quality and standard I have for my items. Though discussion of deadlines can take place and I will do what I can within them. Bare in mind surprise items do happen and will be explicitly communicated to all parties involved. As I'm not an artist, drawing particular alterations to the models art are difficult. Though there are some things I can correct if there's something that you would like altered then the discussion will need to go back to the original artist. If you do not have contact with them then I will do what I can with what I have received. If you are looking to experiment on some items I'm willing to try things but know they will add to the price and time frame if you are adament on having me do them.

By Commissioning Me, You Agree and Adhere to the Following Information

As the Rigger, I...

  • I reserve the right to stream and share items I'm working on in any form, except for when the commission is said, and paid, to be private.

  • I reserve the right to post completed commissions to my social media accounts for advertising and portfolio purposes. I will be sure to provide proper credit to the client as well as any artists that were involved in the creation of the works.

  • I reserve the right to decline any commissions for any reason including, but not limited to, being uncomfortable with working with the client or subject of the art that is presented. This will also include anything I feel I can't confidently complete and provide back to you.

  • I reserve the right to end work in the middle of the project and refund any deposit if the client is being unruly and not understanding of the boundaries. In the event of this type of cancellation compensation will be kept based on the amount of work completed.

  • I work within the constraints provided to me and if the art does not support the image you have I cannot guarentee it will be as you imagined.

  • I am not held responsible for any misunderstandings and misconceptions in the event the commissioner fails to read my Terms of Service thoroughly.

As the Client, you...

  • You may stream and create content which you can monetize using the model on your preferred platform.

  • You should always credit me as the Rigger [Papa] and display the credit in an easily accessible matter within your Twitter bio, channel, and/or website.

  • You should always credit the artist/designer who created your model art as you've only commissioned me for rigging.

  • You may request small revisions, such as intensity of physics within the rig. However, large revisions would need to be paid for.

  • You are NOT allowed to request that I keep the commission private or refrain from posting to any of my socials, unless you have paid for a privacy fee.

  • You are NOT allowed to distribute the model file to others under any circumstance.

  • You are NOT allowed to use commission in any blockchain-related technology, including NFTs and Cryptocurrency.

FAQ

How does half-body rigging work on a full-body model?
When rigging a full body model as half body it will strictly be the upper body that is rigged. Any parts/clothing/accessories on the lower half of the model will not be rigged.
Will it be possible to upgrade my rigging tier?
Absolutely, however, please note that there may be additional charges for certain parts that may need re-rigging, for the parts that have been newly added or parts that need additional cuts. Prices will vary depending on complexity. I would highly recommend the PSD to be at 100% and that your rigging tier choice is set and sure. Upgrades will be exclusive to previous clients. You can return for re-rigging but will be subject to fees up to an entirely new rig.
If a lower tier is picked but I would like a specific part to be rigged at a higher tier, or in a specific way, is this possible?
Of course. Additional fees will apply but will be further discussed for transparency purposes.
Do you accept models that have been previously rigged before?
Yes, though depending on the circumstance consent from the original rigger will be needed.

Order Information

Form Coming Soon

  • PayPal and E-mail should be the same. This is to best avoid scammers who are using different e-mail to attempt transactions. It helps to know that they are the same individuals reaching out.

  • Commissions are NOT first come, first served. I will be reviewing each application and will contact those which I have accepted as well as any questions I may have towards what is sent over.

  • I do not accept slot reservations.

  • As there are limited slots based on my availability there's no guarentee that your commission application will be accepted.

  • If you do not hear from me I apologize, as I'm not able to respond to everyone but always do my best to. You are welcome to check in and see if commissions are open. If comm's are closed and you've not been contacted more than likely you were not selected.

  • Commissions will be worked on one or two at a time. Once completed the current workload I will open commissions once more. This is to prevent long wait periods for those waiting for items and allows the for less delays due to life issues.

  • Depending on timing I will only work on the model's features/add-ons that are in the initial invoice. For newly added features/add-ons to the model that were not originally scoped out they may be added at a later date instead of with the original completion. This is due to items needing to be completed. Sometimes another application may need to be submitted in the event of major alterations. This will be communicated.
